COVERGIRL LipPerfection™ Lipcolor

NOW I KNOOOOOW I HAVENT BLOGED IN FOREVER, BUT PLEASE DONT BE MAD AT ME! 😭

In the pictures above I'm showing ya'll a new lip color for you lipstick lovers out there, it's 275 kiss baiser from Covergirl. They categorize this shade under Nudes/Corals/&Reds. It's supposed to give you softer lips in seven days. Also if you care, it won a cosmopolitan beauty award. So that's cool.
It has a very conditioning silky feel to it, and it has a very light scent, that's hmm..ehh..nice..for a lipstick.

Overall I like it! I give it a 👍!
We'll see if the softer lips claim is true next week.

If you have any questions just drop me a comment! 💋

Crinkles. "I say it's OK to love em'!"

As long as they're not super "harsh, too much hairspray, hard as rock". I think crinkles in your hair are super cute in a sorda "feeling a little lazy, but you know you still dig the look" kind of way. Lol, I say have fun with it! Why not!

There are different ways you can get this style. Of course you can use the crinkle iron (although most of us don't have one unless you raid your mom "flash back to the 80's box") and make it happen quick, but if you want to save your hair the damage, just do two or three french braids in your head before you go to bed, feel free to use a lil product to hold, then when you wake, take them out & voilà! You've got a hair style on the go!

Fall Polish Trends for 2010!

Ok so now that summer's out for the "most of us" (I say most because it's still 90° in miami lol)
so are the summer color polishes, no more super hot pinks, neon's, and bright yellows.
This fall you want to go for Purples, Metallics, Neutrals, & Gem Tones. Deep tones, matts, and burnt colors will definitely keep your nails looking hot in this cool weather!

nail color is number 53 by Jupiter

Dior has some of the dopest color options I've seen so far, along with MAC's nail line (around $21 & )

But if you're not trying to spend $20 on nail polish, here are some cheaper yet quality options

OPI has great colors out for fall, & you can grab these for around $5

Here is a small fall color collection of my own, the Nicole brand (middle purple $4) is similar to OPI.

Brands like Eva & Jupiter you can get for $1! & the polish quality is actually awesome! You can find these almost anywhere.

Steps To The Salon Look Manicure

Proper mani & making it last!

Here are a few steps you can follow to achieve the perfect and properly done manicure from home.

Step 1

Start by applying a base coat to clean dry nails

Step 2

Lightly wipe the sides of the brush on the opening of the bottle

Step 3

for a perfect polish, stroke nail lacquer down the center of the nail, then down each side of the nail, and a last stroke to smooth it out. Repeat for double coat.

Step 4

Clean up the mistakes around the nail with nail polish remover, use with either a Q-tip or you can get some cotton from a
cotton ball and wrap a piece of it around a toothpic (in replacement of a cuticle stick if you don't have one)

Step 5

shine, seal, and protect your polish by applying one coat of a Top Coat polish of your choice (I like the ones with UV protection) pull over the tips of nails
to seal in your color.

Notes-
  • Before applying polish, shape your nails with a fine-grit cushion file, don't saw your nails back and forth with a nail file; it can weaken the nail’s free edge. Instead, file nails from the corners towards the center in one direction.
  • Make sure you let your nails completely dry before moving around to much.
  • Keep your hands moisturized, after you wash your hands apply lotion to hands and cuticles to prevent hangnails, cracking and peeling. Just before bedtime is a perfect. Massaging the cuticle area also stimulates blood circulation, which helps nail growth.
  • Don't expose nails to household cleansers or harsh chemicals, even prolonged exposure to fresh water can dry out nails and hands. So wear gloves when cleaning.
